Part of our amazing activities as an “On-site DMC”, is meeting with local partners and getting to know their vision, daily work and passion. A moment where we discover humble people with big hearts & dreams!

Very active in the local village of Ouirgane, where Berbers have a deep-rooted sense of community and traditions. They work hand in hand with the local community to help them face the future in a humane and decent way. They help them preserve the Berber traditions and culture and develop opportunities for educational enrichment and enterprise. There is a strong focus on empowerment and skills-building. Their main goal is to enhance living conditions in remote areas where illiteracy reaches alarming rates, close to 80% and where girls leave school at a very early age of 12!

We are deeply concerned by children entering school at the late age of 5 and half only! Through the Association Tamounte (Together in Berber), created in January 2016, we decided to encourage them and introduce them to education at a much younger age by building a kindergarten. Today, they start at 3 years old, thus, having a much easier integration.

PACK FOR HOPE is Alizés Private’s philanthropic project to participate in the educational future of the Berbers.
